Biography

Avery Mayo Lewis is a multi-faceted creator skilled in the art of film and writing. Based in Austin, Texas. In 2021, Avery Mayo graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Science in Radio-Television-Film. He has acted and starred in numerous feature and short films. He has written and directed his own work and has even been a co-writer on countless other projects. Along with holding almost every job in the film industry in his early career, he strives to be involved in animation projects, documentaries, and voice acting in television and other platforms. He has built a coalition of individuals in the Austin cinema scene with whom he has worked with and continues to work with.

Avery Mayo has acted but would not say he is an actor, he has held a multitude of jobs within the film industry but would not say he is limited to film, and even though he loves to write and has helped to write movies, screen plays, and the occasional short story he would again not say that he is a writer. Avery would tell you that he is an explorer. Most reading this would assume that means world traveler, but they would be wrong. Avery ventures through the stories of those he gets to work with, he sees the world through the eyes of those that inspire him, and never has allowed himself to be labeled with just one profession.

Avery has learned that experiencing all facets of entertainment and never limiting himself to just one is where he can most notably shine. He understands that Rome wasn’t built in a day and most definitely wasn’t built by a single person, so to achieve his all around vision he strives to work and build a coalition of visionaries that take chances. Things have been the same in cinema for some time, so he wants to change that but trying new methods and pushing new boundaries. Never taking the sole credit and always making sure the team and those around him get the win.

Every new idea, person, and experience are tools in his arsenal to totally transform how we view and absorb a story. Today it might be a movie, tomorrow a documentary, and the future could be a whole new medium in which we can learn about the world and the people around us. Avery Mayo is an explorer, who knows what discoveries are right around the corner.
