  • Mimic is a psychological and horror-thriller short film that was shot in less than 48 hours with a skeleton crew. We shot everything at night, which put us on a time crunch for our two-day shoot. The film was shot in 4K in Blackmagic RAW 24fps and exported as a 1080p timeline.

  • Mimic is a short thriller that opens with a teenage boy, Ryan, who just finished a workout. Ryan finds his mother, Lisa, in the kitchen, distracted by dinner and decides to pull a prank on her. The two converse for a bit before Ryan decides to go outside to take a dip in the hot tub. While outside, Ryan comes face to face with a monster that can take the form of his mother and can mimic her behavior and her voice. Ryan and Lisa must find a way to escape before the creatures’ true intentions are revealed.
